Kim Fish is the owner of Nurture, Grow & Live A Place of Wellness. She is a licensed massage therapist with a passion for solving the kinetic puzzle within the body. She understands no body is the same. Therefore, no massage is exactly the same. Each session starts with a brief client intake and postural analysis. Her sessions are customized to meet the wellness goals of each client.
Her approach is focused on whole body healing and is deeply rooted in the principles of Myofascial Release. Kim helps facilitate the body’s natural healing process. Combining a heartfelt coaching conversation with therapeutic bodywork brings a client’s awareness to chronic tension patterns- physically and emotionally. This is the first step to aligning the body mind connection. She believes this shift is extremely valuable to whole body evolvement.
Her sessions focus on realigning muscle tissue, and re-establishes stability and balance within a person’s body. Kim will often educate her clients, within her scope of practice, on strengthening and/or stretching techniques to compliment the session.
After a treatment, it is important to support the body’s healing process with at home, self care. It is her belief that clients who are diligent with their at home care, have an opportunity to interrupt and correct chronic tension and pain patterns, and achieve long term results from their session.
Kim brings over 10 years of massage experience to her practice. She graduated from the Massage Therapy program at McIntosh College, in 2006.
